Fi2000 PowrPro:
Continuously Variable Tuning (CVT) The world of motorcycle fuel injection calibration has changed completely and permanently with the introduction of Cobra Engineering's new-tech Fi2000 PowrPro with CVT Continuously Variable Tuning. With PowrPro you can say good-bye to old-school EFI mapping mania and O2 sensor hassles. The PowrPro reads the bike's EFI delivery at up to 80 times per second every time the throttle is opened to optimize the acceleration air/ fuel mixture, under every kind of load and under all existing conditions.
- No dyno testing to determine the right map.
- No confusing computer-mapping downloads to and install.
- No welding hassles with O2 sensors or costly pipe changes.
- PowrPro will always supply optimum fuel ratios wherever you find yourself riding tomorrow, next month or next year

Cobra Power Pro « on: Sunday, February 02, 2014. 08:38:19 AM. »
Just thought I would throw in my experience on the power pro. I installed this on a 2012 fatboy about a year ago.
I have V&H Big Radius 2 into 2 and screaming eagle heavy breather. No other changes. Still have lots of decel pop. However, acceleration and overall performance improved quite a bit (seat of pants). After lots of discussions with the cobra consulting expert (Phil) on this tuner, here's what I concluded.
The power pro only operates in open loop. It does nothing for closed loop. It basically only adds fuel time to ECM fuel time output.
The connections to the o2 sensors that are provided, are just pass through connections that do nothing.
I discovered this when I kept getting an engine code indicating that my front o2 sensor was inoperative.
I called Phil about this problem and he said I could send it back and he would "fix" it by bypassing it.
He said they don't do anything anyway. His recommendation was to install some o2 eliminators and run open loop all the time.
I did this, and found that I was running too rich based on the carbon buildup in my pipes. I think the nightrider website says the o2 eliminators cause the ecm to run in a safe default AFR of around 12.3 during idle and cruise.
In the end, I'm pulling the power pro out and replacing it with the PC5 because I want to be able to affect the closed loop portion of the map to reduce the decel pop and lean cruise situation EPA forces on us.
Does the power pro CVT theory seem valid? It does to me. I understand how using the ecm fuel injector output signal can determine crankshaft speed and acceleration, and how this can then be used to tweek the fuel injector open time to improve acceleration. But, I spend 90% of my riding time in cruise, so I want more than just acceleration improvement out of my tuner.
I want cooler running at cruise and less decel pop. Hope this helps anyone considering the power pro.
BTW, I have a used one for sale, LOL.
Ich denke für die $600.00 eines Fi2000 PowrPro bekommt man Besseres.
