Valve springs are only needed on the early T/C engines '99-'04 the late style beehive accepts the 574" cams and we have great luck with this cam as a direct bolt-in.
Decompression isn't needed
If working on the cylinder heads then yes I would recommend changing out your valve springs and doing a nice valve job. You could use either our Endurance Beehive springs #1105 or our Econo Beehive springs #1121 - both available from Drag.
you can use your stock pushrods or our adjustable #4090
Lifters - I would recommend replacing them while you are in there and using either our HP+ #4000 with your stock springs or our Econo line and our Race Series lifters with our Endurance springs as the Race Series will be quieter and a little more RPM before valve float.
