Guuude,
gibt wieder ne neue Info von Greg Wiliams, der die selbstgemachte, einteilige Kupplungsdruckstange vertreibt.

So ..On Harleys vent fix for the transfer I would like to give a little info I recieved from a credible source.I would like to get a 100% clarification on this. However this is exactly what can hapoen.. Apparently moco has discontinued the vent kit??? The problem is with the vent kit installed the engine oil is now being pumped into the primary. Why? It is simple! There is a lip seal on the crankshaft. The pressure the primary makes would push on the lip seal and seal the oil from coming into the primary cavity. With no pressure in the primary now the engine creates pressure as it did before and with no primary pressure it pushes the engine oil past the seal. Supposedly the seal ion the crank is supposed to be flipped to stop this. Guess the have to rewrite installation instructions and include a new seal?? In reality they are just going to run into another problem.. 🤣 There is a way to stop this... The engine cases can make as much as 19 PSI! This can be even more on larger ci motors. The way to fix this would be obviously vent the case and relieve the case pressure. Transmission transfer still happens on primary vented bikes btw. Seen it!
I would fix it right the first time. My rod for the transfer and vent the oil tank.
