Hab meine Gerade zur Insp. abgegeben und nachdem alles geklärt war hoffte ich auf Infos wegen dem Update.... nix.

Auf Frage von mir wegen dem Update meinte er das ich ja nen Supertuner hätte und es von HD keine Freigabe gäbe. Als ich ihm sagte das dem nicht so ist....: "na dann können wir das ja machen". Mal sehen was draus wird

Danke an den Themenstarter, dass er den Recall hier thematisiert hat. Habe ich zufällig vor meinem Reifenwechseltermin beim Freundlichen gelesen. Habe dann auch gleich beim Freundlichen nachgefargt, ob ich mit meiner CVO Softail Deluxe aus 2015 betroffen bin. Die wussten von nix und meinten, wenn ich nicht direkt angeschrieben worden wäre, wäre es auch nicht wichtig. Habe mich mit der Aussage nicht zufrieden gegeben. Der Freundliche hat dann recherchiert und siehe da - ich bin davon betroffen. Ein Tag später konnte ich mein Mopped mit neuen Reifen und neuer Software abholen. Was das neue Update beinhaltet konnte mir der Werkstattleiter auch nicht sagen und das Dokument, das ich bekommen habe , sagt auch nichts konkretes aus. Lediglich eine Aktualisierung der Originalkalibrierung. Wenn ich hier nichts gelesen hätte, hätte ich jetzt kein Upsate. Danke nochmal ...

Mithilfe seiner Vin kann man Recalls hier überprüfen.....

In the interest of customer satisfaction, Harley-Davidson has decided to conduct a Product Program (0924) offering a no cost corrective software update on affected motorcycles.
While this is not a safety issue, we urge you to contact your authorized Harley-Davidson dealer to
schedule an appointment to have your motorcycle inspected and, if necessary, corrected. The service will be performed at no cost to you if completed within two years from the program announcement date. The service will require less than one hour to perform, however, due to scheduling, your dealer may request to have your motorcycle for a longer period of time.
Please Note: If you have installed a Screamin‘ Eagle calibration on your motorcycle, this re-flash will the Screamin‘ Eagle calibration features and return to original equipment configuration. Updated Screamin‘ Eagle calibrations with the improved starting features are expected to be available at your dealer by late August of this year. If you have had a Screamin‘ Eagle calibration installed on your motorcycle, we recommend waiting until late August to have this Product Program (0924) update performed.
This no cost offer expires two years from the date of the program announcement on May 04, 2019.
After the calibration install, the ACR (Automatic Compression Release) valve actuation after "ignition on" may be noticeable as an audible click, which is now part of the normal start-up operation.
To verify that the service has been completed, your dealer will ask you to sign an acknowledgement when you pick up your motorcycle.

Man könnte schon ein "kleines" Büchlein über HD Vertragswerkstätten verfassen

war am Freitag bei der Inspektion und habe extra auf das Update hingewiesen. Mehrfach! Wenn ich jetzt nach der VIN bei HD schaue steht es noch als offener Punkt da.

Naja vielleicht hat der HD Händler es einfach noch nicht eingetragen. Habe ja noch Hoffnung!
