Importing handlebars
Hi Everyone. This is my first post. Please excuse the english but i'm american and it's just easier this way. I live in bavaria some time now and want to order a vindikta hoopteeze handle bar for my street glide. Everyone frome the HD dealership in regensburg to my colleagues at work say i have no chance of leagally installing thes bars. Can someone help me with advice or has someone imported handle bars from the u.s. that knows the proceedure? I'd appreciate any constructive comments.
Thanks
Goran
Hi Goran,
I´m afraid that your colleagues are right. When your Bike is registered in Germany (i.e. it´s got a german license plate),
there is no way to get this handlebar legalized, since it has no certificate (TÜV approval / technical report for parts).

There is a very good translation service where you can enter your text in English and have it translated into German: https://www.deepl.com/translator.

Thank you very much.
